Hello! Welcome to our classroom economy!
My math 8 classes (4th and 6th period) will be implementing their own classroom economy starting fourth quarter. Students will be both earning and losing money based on work ethic, behavior, and academic success. Students will apply for and be assigned classroom jobs in which they carry responsibility for the class running smoothly. My goal is to make this experience as valuable as possible for students in that students will learn that...
Students will have lists of ways to earn money, earn fines and therefore lose money, and ways to spend their money on classroom coupons. Students will have a brand new folder just for them where they will keep their warm-up, wallet, and coupons. This folder will STAY in my room.

- rent is necessary for any space, regardless of your attendance to it
- you can spend money on small things, but saving your money may be worthwhile
- doing your job does pay off (more than you think ;))
- NOT doing your job has very real consequences...
- ... and so does using counterfeit money.
